He also expressed his delight at the dynamic development of bilateralties across various fields, especially between localities.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung, for his part, believed that the BSP will keep playing a significant role in Bulgarian political life.

He hoped that Mikov, in his role as leader of the left-wingparliamentarians’ group, will do his constructive parts in diversecooperation between the two countries and push for the EuropeanParliament’s early approval of the Vietnam – EU Framework Agreement onComprehensive Partnership and Cooperation and the signing of a Vietnam –EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), and recognition of Vietnam as a marketeconomy at the end of the EVFTA negotiations.

Before leaving Bulgaria for Vietnam the same day, the Vietnamese leaderalso met overseas Vietnamese community and embassy staff there.-VNA
