Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on February 17congratulated the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the RussianPresidential Anti-Corruption Directorate on their expanded anti-corruptioncooperation.

Hestressed that Vietnam attaches importance to anti-corruption work, consideringthis an important task and one of the top priorities in building aprofessional, modern and efficient administrative system.
Manycorruption cases have been brought to light in Vietnam, he said, adding thatthe political system and mass organisations have always kept a close watch onthe efforts.

Hedescribed the time-tested partnership between Vietnam and Russia as a valuableasset shared by the two peoples, and expressed his belief that the Russiandelegation’s visit will contribute to boosting the bilateral friendship andcollaboration.
