Phu Quoc island in the southern province of Kien Giang, is planning toimplement a 28 trillion VND (1.3 billion USD) project for theconstruction of the Bai Vong international golf course and eco-tourismcomplex. The plan is contained in the proposal that the island'sInvestment and Development Management Board has submitted to the KienGiang provincial People's Committee.
Construction for theproject, which covers a land area of around 560 ha, is expected to beginby the end of this year and is to be completed in five years. Thecomplex will include modern infrastructure such as a five-star resortand hotel, entertainment area, water park and pagoda. A golf course,restaurant system, convention centre and helicopter services area willlikewise be built.-VNA

Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regul꧅ations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
