Photo exhibition on front’s HCM City chapter opens

An exhibition featuring over 100 photos on important milestones in the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s chapter in Ho Chi Minh City during the 2015-2019 tenure kicked off in the locality on June 21.

HCMCity (VNA) - An exhibition featuring over 100 photos on important milestonesin the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s chapter in Ho Chi Minh City during the2015-2019 tenure  kicked off in thelocality on June 21.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairwoman of the municipal VFF CentralCommittee To Thi Bich Chau said the event highlights the operation of the chapterand the front chapters in other localities in recent time.

The exhibition is also an occasion to report to municipal people the resultsthat the great national unity bloc of the city has achieved in the term,including the active participation of local people from all walks of life.

Exhibited photos spotlight prominent activities of the VFF chapters at alllevels in widely popularizing policies of the Party, and laws of the State inthe community, while reflecting  the front’soutstanding achievements of patriotic emulation movements; supervision andpromotion of grassroots democracy; and activities related to ethnic and religionwork.

The event also presents an overview of achievements of HCM City in developmentand integration, and efforts of the municipal VFF chapter, departments andsectors in building the great national unity, and its contributions to maintainingpolitical stability and promoting the city’s development.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
