Photo exhibition marks 55th anniversary of Vietnam – Cambodia diplomatic relations
A photo exhibition was opened on December 9 in the Central Highland province of Gia Lai to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cambodia diplomatic relations.

Gia Lai (VNA)🐓 – A photo exhibition was opened on December 9 in the Central Highland province of Gia Lai to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cambodia diplomatic relations.
A total of 51 photos are displayed at theexhibition which is organised by the Union of Friendship Organisations of GiaLai province and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and will rununtil December 12 at Gia Lai Museum. The photos depict different periods in the friendly relationship between the two countries and the friendshipactivities between Gia Lai province and northeastern provinces of Cambodiaincluding Ratanakiri, Stung Treng and Preah Vihear. Speaking at the exhibition, Lam The Tong,Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Gia Lai province, affirmedthat Vietnam and Cambodia are two neighbouring countries with traditionalsolidarity and friendship. The relationship has been fostered bygenerations of leaders and people of the two countries. In particular, the cooperative relationshipbetween Gia Lai province and Cambodia’s Ratanakiri provinces has been tightenedwith promoted economic, political, cultural and social activities./.
Vietnam and Cambodia must further strengthen solidarity, cooperation and mutual assistance to deserve the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations and meet the aspirations and interests of their people, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son has stated.
