Passenger vehicles from Vietnam were permitted to drive through Mong Cai Border Gate in northern Quang Ninh province to Dongxing city, China and vice versa from December 17.

Quang Ninh (VNA)🌳 – Passenger vehicles from Vietnam were permitted to drive through Mong Cai Border Gate in northern Quang Ninh province to Dongxing city, China and vice versa from December 17.
In the first day the policy became effective, about 20 coaches of travel agencies and private cars from Vietnam and China went through customs at the two countries’ border and travel around Mong Cai and Dongxing cities.
The policy is expected to facilitate tourism between Vietnam and China as well as satisfy rising demand of holiday-makers of both sides.
