Hanoi (VNA) –The personnel work was high on the agenda of the fourth working day of the 14thsession of the 12th-tenure Party Central Committee on December 17.
Party General Secretary and State PresidentNguyen Phu Trong chaired the plenum.
Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Secretary ofthe Party Central Committee, and Chairman of the Party Central Committee’sOrganisation Commission, delivered the Politburo’s proposal on personnel work orientationsfor the 13th-tenure Politburo and Party Central Committee’s Secretariat.
Later, the Party Central Committee cast ballotsto nominate some members of the 12th-tenure Politburo, Party Central Committee,and Party Central Committee’s Secretariat as candidates for seats in theseorgans in the 13th term.
The same day, Tran Cam Tu, Secretary of theParty Central Committee and Chairman of the Party Central Committee’sInspection Commission, read the Politburo’s proposal on disciplining Nguyen DucChung, member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice Secretary of theHanoi Party Committee for 2015-2020, and former Secretary of the Party unit atand former Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee for 2016-2020.
The Party Central Committee then considered anddecided on the disciplinary measure of expelling Chung from the Party./.
