Hanoi, (VNA) – The PartyCentral Committee discussed in groups a project on renewing the management andfinancial mechanisms and re-arranging the system of public non-businessagencies, in the morning of October 7.
The discussions were part of thesixth plenary meeting of the 12th Party Central Committee, whichopened on October 4.
The committee takes one and ahalf day off from the afternoon of October 7 and will resume the meeting onMonday (October 9).
The plenum is scheduled to lastuntil October 11.-VNA
The 12th Party Central Committee’s sixth meeting opened in Hanoi on October 4, expected to discuss the socio-economic and financial-budgetary situation in 2017 and draft plans for next year.
Members of the 12th Party Central Committee discussed the socio-economic situation, State budget of 2017 and tasks for 2018 during the second working day of their 6th meeting on October 5.
The Party Central Committee (PCC) elected two additional members to the PCC Secretariat on October 6, the third working day of the PCC’s sixth plenary meeting in Hanoi.
The 500kV Lao Cai – Vinh Yen power transmission line has a total investment of over 7.41 trillion VND (282.5 million USD), and a total length of 229.5 km, passing through 31 communes in the two provinces, and comprising 468 transmission tower foundations.
The visits reflected the elevated position of Vietnam’s foreign policy in the new era—aimed at not only advancing ties with key regional partners like Egypt and Angola but also delivering a strategic message about Vietnam’s commitment to deepening relations with African nations as a whole.
