Hanoi (VNA) – The Government is going toissue a resolution on some policies supporting women and children withdifficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has assigned theMinistry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) to coordinate withrelevant ministries and sectors to promptly complete the draft resolution.

The resolution will specify assistance for HeroicVietnamese Mothers; children whose parents died of COVID-19; female patientswho are pregnant or have given birth to babies; along with medical workers,those doing other jobs but working for the healthcare sector, and medical studentsdirectly taking part in COVID-19 prevention and control.

Besides, the Deputy PM tasked the Ministry of Planningand Investment with working with the MoLISA, the Vietnam Bank for SocialPolicies, and relevant agencies to propose support for pandemic-hit individualsand families who have to return to their hometowns so that the target group canreceive soft loans to fund their production and business activities./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
