Tran Khanh Chuong, President ofthe Vietnam Fine Arts Association, said his association received 2,500 works by1,828 painters for the exhibition – of which 1,345 were selected for display atthe eight regional exhibitions.
The Hanoi exhibition showcased 120 paintings in different materials – such asoil, lacquer, silk, and acrylic – by 124 artists, he added.
A painting exhibition featuring the Russian October Revolution as well as the people and landscapes in difference places of the Soviet Union opened at the National Museum of Vietnamese History on November 7.
