OVs in Italy, Ukraine support COVID-19-hit children

The Italy – Vietnam Cultural Bridge Association in Italy and the Vietnamese community in Cyprus have raised 5,000 EUR in support of Vietnamese children who lost their parents to COVID-19 pandemic.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Italy – Vietnam Cultural BridgeAssociation in Italy and the Vietnamese community in Cyprus have raised 5,000EUR in support of Vietnamese children who lost their parents to COVID-19pandemic.

The sum was donated by Vietnamesephilanthropists in Italy and sent to 34 orphans in Ho Chi Minh City’s districts7, 8 and Binh Chanh, including four scholarships worth 10 million VND each and30 gifts.

On December 17 morning, the VietnameseAssociation in the Ukrainian province of Odessa and the Odessa Town Hallpresented gifts to children’s hospital No.3 in Odessa city.

Director of the hospital Elena Archemovathanked the Vietnamese Honorary Consular Office and association for their timelygift a♛mid the pandemic. She a🦋dded that the hospital recently opened a COVID-19treatment department for children with 120 beds./.
