Overseas Vietnamese in the Czech Republic have expressed their hope that the new leaders of the 12th Party Central Committee will work to push the country’s development forward.

Hanoi (VNA) – Overseas ♈Vietnamese in the Cz𝔍ech Republic have expressed their hope that the new leaders of the 12th Party Central Committee will work to push the country’s development forward.

President of the Association of Vietnamese People in the Czech Republic Hoang Dinh Thang said the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a significant political event that will set orientations for the nation’s development and increasing position in the global arena.
Vietnamese at home and abroad expect the Congress will be a success, he said, on behalf of over 65,000 Vietnamese expatriates in the Czech Republic. In Algeria, the Vietnamese community is closely following the 12th National Party Congress, which is expected to roll out policies to develop the country amid global economic integration. The Congress is also expected to put forth more policies to support Overseas Vietnamese, said Pham Do Nhat Quang, head of the liaison committee for the Vietnamese community in Algeria.
The 12th National Party Congress is taking place in Hanoi from January 21 to 28. The list of newly elected members of the 12th Party Central Committee was announced on January 26 at a plenary session of the 12th National Party Congress. The Congress has approved the voting results. The new Party Central Committee has 200 members, comprising 180 official members and 20 alternate ones.-VNA
