Over 668 tonnes of rice allocated to three provinces in between-crop period

Hanoi (VNA) – More than 668 tonnes of rice from the national reserve will be allocated to the three northern mountainous provinces of Bac Kan, Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang to support local residents during the between-crop period in 2025.

Under Decision No.913/QD-TTg recently signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Bac Kan will get over 171 tonnes, Ha Giang more than 305 tonnes, and Tuyen Quang nearly 192 tonnes.

The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health will take prime responsibility for rice allocation and make reports on the work.

Meanwhile, the People’s Committees of the three localities are responsible for delivering rice support for the needy in a timely fashion and in line with regulations.
