Hanoi (VNA) – Terminal T2 for international flights at Hಞanoi’s Noi Bai airport served more than 53,000 passengers from February 7-10 (the 29th day of the last lunar month of the Year of Goat to the third day of the first lunar mဣonth of the Year of Monkey).

According to the airport’s Customs Department, most of the passengers were overseas Vietnamese who returned home for the ongoing lunar New Year (Tet) holidays and people who went on outbound tours abroad.
In the period, the number of international flights handled at Terminal T2 increased by 15 percent year-on-year.
Customs procedures were done swiftly and timely, which reflected positive outcomes of the municipal customs sector’s reform efforts. The T2 international terminal at Noi Bai airport was put into operation in early 2015. It has served 41,211 flights and more than 6.1 million passengers so far.-VNA
