Over 5,200 jobs up for grabs at HCM City’s job fair

HCM City (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh University of Technology(HUTECH) organised a job fair on March 15, with more than 5,200 vacancies on offer.

Seventy-five domestic and foreigꦆn recruiters looked to fillpositions from staff, team manager to collaborator💎s and interns.

Among the vacancies, banking and finance made of the lion sharewith more than 2,100, or 42% of the total. Most of the vacant jobs wereteller interns, accountants, and tax consultant.

Meanwhile, there were over 1,000 vacancies in marketingfirms and some 1,000 others in the business administration industry.

Recruitment demand was also high in the areas of IT and technique,with such positions as software sales specialists and mechanical maintenanceand quality control staff.

According to HUTECH Director Assoc. Prof. Dr Phan Dinh Nguyen, close cooperationwith enterprises is the university’s strategy to provide the market withhigh-quality labour force.

At the event, representatives from the businesses and HUTECH presentedscholarships to disadvantaged students with standout 🐭academic results, andsigned various cooperation꧙ deals./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
