Hanoi (VNA) – A Bamboo Airways flight carriedmore than 240 Vietnamese citizens home from Singapore on December 20.

The passengers included the elderly, children under 18 yearsold, people with illnesses, and other people in extremely difficultcircumstances.

The Vietnamese Embassy sent staff members to the airport tohelp the citizens with boarding procedures.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, disease preventionmeasures were strictly carried out during the flight. Upon landing at the CanTho International Airport in the Mekong Delta City of the same name, allcrewmembers and passengers were given health check-ups and quarantined in linewith regulations.

The repatriation of Vietnamese citizens in disadvantagedcircumstances abroad will be arranged based on citizens’ wish, the developmentsof the pandemic and domestic quarantine capacity./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
