Over 140 women awarded with “Heroic Mother” title

Ho Chi Minh City (VNA)🦂 – Ho Chi Minh City authorities presented the title of “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” to 141 women in 16 urban and four rural districts during a ceremony on January 2.

Among them, only four are still alive and able to receive the title.
Speaking at the event, Vice Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Tat Thanh Cang expressed his gratitude for heroic Vietnamese mothers and fallen soldiers for their sacrifice to the great national revolutionary cause.
With the recognition, Ho Chi Minh City currently records a total of 4,574 heroic Vietnamese mothers. Across the country, more than 59,000 women have been awarded with the title.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
