Vietnam ranks 57th out of the 125 surveyed countries in terms of budget transparency, up 11 places compared to 2021, according to the Open Budget Survey (OBS) 2023 released recently by the International Budget Partnership.

Vietnam was placed 68th out of the120 countries in the Open Budget Survey (OBS) 2021 recently released by the International Budget Partnership (IBP), up nine spots against 2019 and 23 against 2017, the Ministry of Finance announced on June 9.

The Open Budget Survey (OBS) 2019 from the International Budget Partnership (IBP) ranks Vietnam 77th out of 117 countries around the world, up 14 places against the previous survey in 2017, the Ministry of Finance reported on May 18.
