Ninh Binh (VNA) – The Global Health Bio – IT Conference-Expo& Nobel Forum took place in the northern province of Ninh Binh on June 16,with leading medical researchers and scientists from Vietnam, Sweden, the UK,Germany and Australia taking part.

The event focused its discussions on technologicalapplication in treating diseases, the process of approving Nobel prize inmedicine with the participation of professors from Sweden’s Karolinksa Institute.

Apart from the goal of linking up domestic and foreignuniversities, hospitals and research institutes in medical care, education andtechnology, the event afforded leading scientists at home and abroad a chanceto share experience and discuss ways to earn Nobel laureates in medicine.

Seminars will also be organised on the topics of genes inhuman reproductive studies, prognosis in big data era: opportunities andchallenges, hereditary epidemiology of Parkinson disease, among others.

Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh provincial People’s CommitteeTong Quang Thin said it is an excellent chance for the provincial medicalsector to step up research and technological application to further improvehealth check-ups and treatment.

On the sidelines of the event, the organising board willhold a ceremony marking the fifth anniversary of Dinh Tien Hoang Institute ofMedicine, a forum on Nobel laureates in physiology and medicine, debut theAssociation of Vietnamese Alumni at the Karolinksa Institute, and a race walkfor global health.-VNA

Enhanced anti-COVID-19 measures in place amid rising ca🐽ses💫
