News agency presents Tet gifts to AO victims

The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and the Hanoi Fund for Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin Victims (HFAV) on Jan. 20 presented 50 gifts and two wheelchairs to AO victims in the city’s Hai Ba Trung district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Vu QuocKhanh, Director of the VNA’s Relief Fund for AO Victims said that,through VNA bureaus, the fund has regularly given gifts to AO victimsacross the country during Tet holidays.

This moveaims to join efforts with the entire society to help the victims lessendifficulties and improve their living conditions, Khanh added.

On the occasion, the HFAV and the Hanoi Association of Victims ofAgent Orange/Dioxin will donate 16,000 gifts each worth 300,000 VND toAO/dioxin victims in the city./.
