New Year visit paid to 85-year Party membership revolutionary

Born in 1914, Trinh joined therevolution and became a Party member at the age of 16. She was arrestedtwice and brutally tortured by enemies, but upheld her revolutionaryspirit with resilience.

During her 20 years ofservice with the Vietnam Women’s Union , she was elected as a deputyto the National Assembly’s second and fifth tenures.

Anh praised her contributions to the Party’s revolution as well asnational development. He also wished the revolutionary good health andhappiness on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet).

For her part, Trinh expressed her utmost belief in the Party’s leadership as well as the bright future of the country.

The same day, Dinh The Huynh, member of the Politburo, standing memberof the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat and Head of the CentralCommittee’s Commission for Communications and Education, visited andextended Tet greetings to outstanding intellectuals, artists andscientists in Hanoi .

Huynh stated that the Partyand State recognise and highly value each individual’s contributions toprogress in science, education and training, healthcare, literature andart, and their role in boosting the socio-economic growth of thecountry.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
