Agencies revealed thatregistrations for summer tours have increased by nearly 80 percentcompared to those in other seasons, with a focus on sea tours.

Vietravel, one of the largest travel companies in Vietnam, has openedmore than 20 new routes to serve the increasing demand ofholidaymakers.

It introduced new tours to the sea and island paradisesof Co To Island in northern Quang Ninh province, Ly Son island incentral Quang Ngai, and Tuy Hoa beach in central Phu Yen province, whosenatural beauty remains untouched.

The companyis also offering discounts up to 57 percent on several tours to theMekong Delta and central regions, as well as applying preferentialprices in outbound tours to the US and the UK.

The company expects to serve 180,000 tourists during this summer, up 30 percent from the same period last year.

Along with new tours to beautiful beaches, Vietrantour andHanoiRedtours have also strengthened cooperation with airlines,including national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific, todiversify their products.-VNA
