The website promoting Vietnam tourism at www.vietnamtourism.com has received a major upgrade to make it more attractive and user-friendly.

Hanoi (VNA) – The website promotingVietnam tourism at www.vietnamtourism.com  has received a major upgradeto make it more attractive and user-friendly.

This is part of activities to enhance tourisme-marketing and welcome the 57th founding anniversary of the tourism sector(July 9).

The website provides information and images oftourism destinations across the nation as well as updates tourism events,festivals around the year, lists of hotels and tourism agencies, tours andheritage sites in Vietnam.

The website, launched by the Vietnam NationalAdministration of Tourism 
(VNAT) in December 1997, is now available inseven languages, namely Vietnamese, English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Koreanand Russian.

An Online Tourism Day will be launched in Ho ChiMinh City by VNAT and the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM).

It aims to draw attention of all stakeholders toonline tourism while promoting connections between tourism enterprises andthose in the fields of information and communication technology, e-marketing,e-payment, and insurance.-VNA
