By promoting environmental awareness and sustainable tourism practices, the “Sustainable Tourism and Net Zero Goal” programme is encouraging travel businesses to rethink their strategies and adopt more eco-friendly and socially responsible models.

The forum is an opportunity for the business community to reaffirm their trust and efforts in realising the goal of bringing net emissions to zero by 2050.

France is ready to work with Vietnam to promote cooperative activities in the field of green development and reducing net emissions by providing advanced technical solutions, French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet said on June 6.

Implementing green growth and sustainable development goals is a challenge but also an opportunity for the business community and investors in Vietnam, participants heard at a conference on November 16.

The establishment of a domestic carbon credit trading floor is expected to help improve the transparency and effectiveness of transactions related to carbon credits, thereby helping Vietnam work towards its net zero goal by 2050.
