Hanoi (VNA) – The NationalAssembly adopted three draft laws in the afternoon of November 25, as part ofthe legislature’s on-going 8th session.
The draft law amending andsupplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Management and Use ofWeapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools went through the NA with88.41 percent of the votes.
Under the new law, the Ministryof National Defence will exercise State management of weapons, explosives andsupporting tools.
The law will take effect onJanuary 10, 2020.
Meanwhile, the draft law amendingand supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transitand Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam was approved with 83.64 percent ofthe votes.
The law will take effect on July1, 2020.
The NA adopted the draft law amendingand supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servantsand the Law on Public Employees was which with an 88.2 percent approving rate.
The National Assembly spent the morning of November 21, the 24th working day of its 8th session, discussing the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.
The National Assembly passed the law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Government Organisation and the Law on Local Administration Organisation on November 22 with 89.23 percent approval.
