NA Vice Chairman presents Tet gifts to locals in Thai Binh
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Khac Dinh visited and presented 1,400 packages of gifts to social policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poor households, workers and the needy in the northern province of Thai Binh on January 30 on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival.

Thai Binh (VNA) – Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Khac Dinh visited andpresented 1,400 packages of gifts to social policy beneficiaries, poor and near-poorhouseholds, workers and the needy in the northern province of Thai Binh onJanuary 30 on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival.
The NA Vice Chairman handed over 200 Tet gifts worth 1.2million VND (nearly 50 USD) each to policy beneficiary households and poorhouseholds in Vu Thu district, and 200 gifts valued at 1.3 million VND each to needy labourers in Quynh Phu district.
Dinh and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV)also offered 1,000 Tet gifts with the value of 500,000 VND each to locals inThai Binh.
The NA Vice Chairman expressed his hope that the gifts willcontribute to bringing a warmer Tet to the receivers. He asked the local PartyCommittees and administrations at all levels as well as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and organisationsto continue paying attention to them and show better performance in socialwelfare activities.
Visiting and presenting Tet gifts to 21 wounded and injuredwar veterans at the care centre for people renderingservices to the nation in Minh Quang commune, Vu Thu district, Dinh affirmedthat the Party, State and people always remember the contributions that theveterans made to the national independence, freedom and reunification.
The same day, Dinh visited and presented Tet gifts to poor,near-poor and needy households in Kien Xuong district, and Vietnamese HeroicMother Do Thi Sen in Vu Vinh commune of Vu Thu district./.
