NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai pays official visit to RoK
A delegation of the National Assembly (NA) led by Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai is paying an official visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK) from March 18 to 25.

Seoul (VNA) – A delegationof the National Assembly (NA) led by Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai is paying anofficial visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK) from March 18 to 25.
This is the first high-rankingdelegation of Vietnam to pay an official visit to the RoK since the twocountries elevated their ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership inDecember 2022.
The trip aims to further intensify the countries' relations, political trust, and cooperation between the twoparliaments in bilateral and multilateral aspects. The delegation will havediscussions with the RoK to serve the amendment of some important laws such asthe Land Law, the Law on Electronic Transactions, the Law on Protection of ConsumerRights, the Law on Price, the Law on Bidding, and the Law on Cooperatives, alongwith the e-parliament building.
Visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in theRoK on March 19, the NA delegation had a meeting with the embassy’s staff andrepresentatives of the Vietnamese community there.

NA Vice Chairman Hai affirmed thatthe Party and State always view overseas Vietnamese as an integral part and aresource of the country, as well as an important factor helping strengthen Vietnam’scooperation and friendship with others.
He stressed that the Vietnam - RoK relationsare flourishing, especially since the establishment of the comprehensivestrategic partnership.
The RoK remains one of the leadingeconomic partners of Vietnam. People-to-people exchanges are vibrant with about200,000 citizens of each country living, studying, and working in the other,including about 80,000 multicultural families.
Vietnamese people in the RoK form ayoung and promising community that has been growing stably, integrating wellinto, and contribute to the development of the local society, Hai said.
He expressed his hope that thecommunity, especially intellectuals and students, will surmount difficultiesand industriously learn knowledge as well as advanced management and productionmodels of the RoK to contribute to the homeland’s development./.
