Hung Yen(VNA) – National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue paid a working visit tothe northern province of Hung Yen on March 14.
In Hung Yen city, theNA leader and his entourage laid flowers at the statue of former Party General SecretaryNguyen Van Linh, the excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh and the firstGeneral Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the “Doi Moi” (Renewal) period.
Visiting Quang Lang commune of An Thi district, NA Chairman Hue attendedthe ground-breaking ceremony for Hung Yen's Industrial Park No.5, which covers192 hectares in Xuan Truc and Quang Lang communes of An Thi district, and NghiaDan commune of Kim Dong district.

The project, the thirdIP that has been constructed during the 2020-2025 period, has a totalinvestment of 2.3 trillion VND (97.58 million USD). Currently, ground clearance for the project has been bassically completed.
Hung Yen is working toexpand the road connecting the Hanoi-Hai Phong and Cau Gie-Ninh Binh expresswaysby four times, making it easier for travelling and trading activities, helping attractmore investors to the locality.
During his working trip, the top legislature also attended a ceremony in Long Hungcommune of Van Giang district to celebrate the 77th Vietnam SportsDay (March 27), and visited the PVF Football Academy,one of the three training centres for young footballers that have beenrated three stars, the highest ranking, by the Asian Football Confederation(AFC).
The NA leader was reported on the operations of the facility. He presentedgifts to officials, experts, trainers and trainees of the PVF Football Academy and the Hanoi Public Police FC.

Covering 20 hectares, the establishment has 130 staff and 160 young footballers aged 12-19, along with three foreign technical experts.
In 2020, the PVF Football Academy provided 14 playersand five coaches for U19 and U17 teams, along with facilities forclubs serving training and treating injured players. It also took part in hostingthe national U17 and U19 tournaments.
Last year, itcontributed one player and three officials to the national U23 team that wonthe 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) championship.
So far this year, PVF hassupplied five players to the national U20 team, while hosting the nationalwomen’s football tournament in February and the final round of the national U17men’s tournament in March./.
Industrial parks in the northern province of Hung Yen have attracted 555 million USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) so far this year, surpassing the yearly plan assigned by the provincial authority by 23.3% and up 11% year on year.
