Hanoi (VNA) - Myanmar's Union Par🙈liament on March 24 approved a list of 18 nominees for ministers, including leader of the National League for Democracy (NLD) Aung San Suu Kyi, who will lead 21 ministries in the government of new President U Htin Kyaw.

However, the parliament session's agenda on March 24 did not deal with the particular portfolio assignment of these ministerial nominees, but proposed to form a constitution-related tribunal with nine persons to handle arising issues related to the constitution.
Of the nine persons, three were nominated by the President-elect, while three others by the House of Representatives (Lower House) and the remaining by the House of Nationalities (Upper House).
The formation of the tribunal will be adopted by the parliament on March 28, if there is no objection before 4 pm on March 25 (local time). The assignment of portfolios is expected to be announced later.-VNA
