More Heroic Mothers honoured in Dak Lak

The People’s Committee of the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak presented the State title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother to 64 mothers whose husbands and children sacrificed their lives in the past wars for national independence on February 13.

A total of 469 women in the province have been honoured with the title, with only 53 of them still alive.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the local People’s Committee Y Dham Enuolsaid the recognition aims to express gratitude towards people who madevaluable contributions to the cause of national independence.

The same day, several officials and units in the province were alsoawarded the Independence Order and the Labour Order for theiroutstanding achievements in national building and protection.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
