Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Director of the Party Central Committee’sCommission for Mass Mobilisation Nguyen Lam extended Christmas and New Yeargreetings to Catholic dignitaries and followers in the northern provinces ofNinh Binh and Nam Dinh on December 21.

Visiting Ninh Binh’s Phat Diemdiocese and Nam Dinh’s Bui Chu diocese, Lam affirmed that the Catholiccommunity has contributed remarkably to the country’s socio-economicachievements, especially to the building of new-style rural areas and povertyreduction.

He affirmed that the Party andState have consistently respected and ensured the right to religion and belief freedomof all people and satisfied the legitimate needs of religious organisations andfollowers.

On the same day, NationalAssembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan also visited the Thanh Hoa diocese aheadof the upcoming Christmas holidays.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
