Hanoi (VNA) –
A month-long campaign was launched in Hanoi on May 23 to promote socialinsurance for all, with the launching ceremony broadcast live at 63 sites incities and provinces.

Deputy DirectorGeneral of the Vietnam Social Security (VSS) Tran Dinh Lieu said the campaignaims to encourage people to join voluntary social insurance, towards the targetof social insurance for all.

Apart from paradeswith messages of social insurance, banners, slogans and posters were hungoutside the headquarters of the VSS and Vietnam Post that co-organised theceremony.

Last year, the twosides organised 14,000 conferences on voluntary social insurance policies,encouraging 276,000 people to voluntarily participate in social insurance.

In the first for months of this year, thenumber of participants stood at 48,012. Another 300,000 people are expected tojoin voluntary social insurance this year, raising the total to at least800,000./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
