Hanoi (VNA) – Two pilots died after their militarytraining aircraft crashed near Suoi Dau lake in Cam Lam district, the centralcoastal province of Khanh Hoa on June 14.

The YAK-52 of the 920Regiment lost contact with the operation control centre at 09:35 on the wayback to the airport after completing the training lesson.

Captain Le XuanTruong of the First Squad of the 920 Regiment and Sergeant Dao Van Long wereconfirmed to be the casualties in the crash. Truong died inside theaircraft, while Long died on the way to the hospital. 

The Ministry ofDefence has directed relevant agencies to coordinate with the Air Defence-AirForce to investigate the cause of the incident, while promptly addressing theconsequences of the case and support the families of the victims.-VNA
