Memorial, reburial services held for fallen soldiers

The Central Highlands province of Gia Lai held a ceremony at An Khe town’s martyr cemetery on July 26 to rebury remains of 61 martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the resistance war against the US.

Gia Lai (VNA) – The Central Highlands province of Gia Lai held aceremony at An Khe town’s martyr cemetery on July 26 to rebury remains of 61martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the resistance war against the US.

The remains were foundin An Khe town and Dak Po district, raising the number of martyrs discovered inthe two localities since the beginning of 2018 to 120.

Speaking at the event,Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Nu Thu Ha said thatthe sacrifices by the martyrs are a great loss of not only their families, butalso the entire nation.

She expressed her hopethat the martyrs will rest in peace.-VNA
