Meet the “goddesses” who specialize in unexploded ordnances clearance

The Cluster Bomb team no.19 (MAT 19) is MAG’s most special bomb-clearing team, with members are mostly women and there is only one man who is the driver.
Devoting while working on every meter of land in the midst of sweltering weather of the Central Vietnam, MAG (Mines Advisory Group) team members are trying to find the explosive materials left in Quang Tri which was devastated by mines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) during the war against the US.
The Cluster Bomb team no.19 (MAT 19) is MAG’s most special bomb-clearing team, with members are mostly women and there is only one man who is the driver. All members have many years of experience in bomb clearance. MAG is a US, UK and Japan-funded non-governmental organization that specializes in clearing bombs and mines in countries which experienced war. In Vietnam, MAG started operations in Quang Tri province in 1999, then expanded to Quang Binh province in 2003. These are 2 provinces with the highest level of mines and ERW pollution in Vietnam./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
