Hanoi (VNA) – Huynh Khanh Ly, Masterchef France 2015, will visit Hanoi tointroduce and promote Vietnamese and French cuisines under the framework ofFrancophonie Day, which is on March 20.

Lywill be in Hanoi from March 17 to 23 on the invitation of the French Embassy inVietnam. On March 18, Ly will participate in Francophone Day celebrations beingheld at Hanoi National University and instruct the audience on how to make someFrench dishes.

OnMarch 21, Ly along with chef Alain Dutournier will cook for a dinner party atthe French Embassy in Vietnam, which will include Vietnamese alumni who studiedin France and students who want to pursue culinary, tourism or wine studies.

Huynh Khanh Ly, whose parents are Vietnamese,was born in 1991 in France. Ly pursued law as a major; however, she had alwaysbeen passionate about cooking and is a well-known chef in France.

Ly won Masterchef France 2015 and pursued the study of restaurant management atPaul Bocuse Institute, France. In 2016, she released a cookbook featuring 45recipes.-VNA
