Kon Tum (VNA) –
A ceremony was held by the PartyCommittee, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front chapter ofthe Central Highlands province of Kon Tum to on May 25 bury remains of 14 Vietnamesevoluntary troops and experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos and Cambodia.

Also attending the ceremony to lay the martyrs to rest inNgoc Hoi district were representatives of the special working committee of theGovernment on the work, as well as those from various provinces of Laos andCambodia, and thousands of locals.

At the ceremony, many participants expressed their profoundgratitude to the huge sacrifices by the martyrs who died for nationalindependence and freedom, as well as for the noble international missions.

The remains were found and retrieved by a team of Kon Tumprovince which has so far this year also found remains of 16 martyrs in theprovince.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
