Malaysia on May 16 announced a list of ex-officials who are banned from leaving the country, including former Inspector General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar.

Kuala Lumpur(VNA) – Malay♔sia on May 16 announced a list of ex-officials who are banned fromleaving the country, including former Inspeꦅctor General of Police Khalid AbuBakar.

Also in the list are Attorney General Mohamed Apandi Ali, former Treasury Secretary-GeneralMohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah and former Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) ChiefDzulkifli Ahmad.
According to the News Strait Times newspaper, Mohamed Apandi Ali is said to takea 30-day leave while Mohd Irwan has been transferred from the Ministry ofFinance to the Public Service Department.
Dzulkifli resigned his post as MACC chief and was reportedfor duty at the Attorney-General’s Chambers on May 15. Earlier on May 12, Malaysia'sImmigration Department said former Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and hiswife Rosmah Mansor were banned from leaving the country.-VNA
