Rafael Dos Santos Lima opened the score for Long An at the 25th minute,receiving a left-wing pass and scoring off a strong attack pastgoalkeeper Hwan Kang-jin.

Long An made a double in thesecond half with an attempt by Souleymane Diabate. The Koreans narrowedthe result with a successful penalty by Choi Chi-won at the 75th mark.

The second match at the tournament also saw the victory of the hostBecamex Binh Duong team, which defeated Thailand ’s BEC Tero 3-1.

V-League's Quang Ninh Coal is scheduled to play Sport Clube Capixaba ofBrazil while SHB Da Nang meets Ayeyawady United FC, the Myanmarchampions, in Group B matches on November 8.

BTV Cup,which was launched for the 15 th time so far, sees the competition ofeight Vietnamese and foreign teams, namely Becamex Binh Duong, Dong TamLong An, SHB Da Nang, Korea University Selection Team, BEC Tero, SportClube Capixaba and Ayeyawady United FC.-VNA
