Hanoi (VNA) – Shares fell further on the two exchanges on December13.

The benchmark VN Index on the HCM Stock Exchange dropped 0.8 percent to closeat 654.66 points, extending a two-day loss of 1.3 percent.

The HNX Index on the Hanoi Stock Exchange dipped 1.2 percent to finish at 77.88points. The northern bourse has declined by 2.2 percent over the past twosessions.

Large-cap stocks remained the major factor that pulled market down, with 18 ofthe 30 largest companies by market capitalization recording losses.

Those stocks included dairy firm Vinamilk (VNM), consumer goods producer MasanGroup (MSN), banks and property developers.

VNM lost 2 percent, MSN slumped 3.2 percent, while banking and real estatesectors continued to underperform.

More than 172.6 million shares were exchanged on the two bourses, worth nearly2.7 trillion VND (119.95 million USD).-VNA

🐼 Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
