Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) Lieut. Gen. Pham Truong Son chaired a conference in Hanoi on September 18 to transfer the management of Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 from the Military Medical Academy to the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

The Engineering Unit Rotation 3 and the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi, and to fallen soldiers at the Heroic Martyrs' Monument in the capital city on September 18 before they head for UN peacekeeping missions.

The Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations has coordinated with other relevant units of the Ministry of National Defence in preparation for the send-off ceremony for Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 and Engineering Unit Rotation 3 to UN peacekeeping missions, said its Director Major General Pham Manh Thang on September 16.
