In the first half of this year, Vietnam's exports to the Republic of Korea (RoK) reached some 12 billion USD, an increase of nearly 11% compared to the same period last year. Notably, Vietnamese farming produce is increasingly favored by Koreans.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with 70 Koreans who represented organisations and associations as well as standout individuals with significant contributions to the Vietnam – the Republic of Korea ties over the past years, as part of his official visit to the Northeast Asian nation.

Vietnam welcomed 12.6 million international arrivals in 2023, with the Republic of Korea and China being the largest source markets.
