Korean firms seek cooperation opportunities in Soc Trang

Soc Trang (VNA) – Firms fromthe Republic of Korea (RoK) have worked with authorities from the Mekong Deltaprovince of Soc Trang to seek cooperation opportunities in construction andhealth care.

At a working session on June 22 with the DAEHIEN construction group and Gumi GangDong hospital and other businesses, ViceChairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ngo Hung said Soc Trang iscalling for investment in important health projects such as the ear, nose, andthroat hospital and the nursing and rehabilitation hospital.

He noted that all communes and towns in SocTrang have medical stations. The province has three public hospitals and oneprivate hospital with nearly 1,000 beds. 

Soc Trang also appeals for foreign investment inbuilding public service facilities like supermarkets, trade centres andmarkets.

The Korean firms expressed their wish tocooperate with the Mekong Delta province and said they are willing to provideequipment for construction, health care, industry, wind power, andenvironmental pollution treatment.

Hung welcomed the cooperation from the Koreanbusinesses and revealed that his province needs investment in 72 projects oninfrastructure, trade centres and wind power. - VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
