Hanoi (VNA) – V🦹ietnam's representative, Tran Ngoc Lan Khue, is among the top 10 of the evening gown round at the Miss World 2015 contest, it was announced on the pageant's w൲ebsite www.missworld.com.
She is also among 30 contestants who have progressed onto the final stages of the Miss World Top Model Challenge Event.
Khue's evening gown, which helped her to perform well, was designed by Ly Quy Khanh, who was inspired with the idea of a blazing fire.
Beside Vietnam, the top 10 best evening gowns are those of the contestants from Bosnia Herzegovina, Brazil, Cote d'Ivoire and Guadeloupe, India, Indonesia, Italy and Mongolia, as well as Puerto Rico.
The best evening gown contest winner will be announced on the finale night of Miss World 2015, which is being held from November 21 to December 19.
Born in 1992, Khue is a student of HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Before becoming Miss Ao Dai Vietnam, she was among the top three Asian Top Models 2012 and won the Vietnam Supermodel contest in 2013.
Pham Huong, the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Universe contest, is also performing well. Missosology, the number one pageant-related community forum today that covers Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth contests, besides many other local beauty contests, has ranked Huong as the best model in the swimsuit round.-VNA
Tran Ngoc Lan Khue from Ho Chi Minh City was awarded the Golden Prize after beating off 24 other competitors at the Vietnam Supermodel 2013 final on October 20.
