Hanoi (VNA) ℱ– Jetstar Pacific Airlineshas been registered under the international operation safety audit (IOSA) of theInternational Air Transport Association (IATA).

The low-cost airline has been added to thelist of IOSA-achieved airlines of IATA. The IOSA programme is an internationally-recognisedsafety evaluation system, designed to assess the operation management andcontrol of safety standards within an airline. According to Jetstar Pacific Chief ExecutiveOfficer Nguyen Quoc Phuong, the airline cleared over 900 standards andrecommended practices outlined in the programme to get the certification. Jetstar Pacific is now using the SafetyManagement System (SMS) approved by Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam andbased on standards of IATA, the International Civil Aviation Organisation andAustralia’s Qantas Airways.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
