Japan provide 580,000 USD for six projects

The Japanese General Consulate in HCM City on March 6 held a contract-signing ceremony on the provision of 580,000 USD for six projects in the fields of health, education, and environment in Vietnam.

Two of the projects will build the Ea Tirprimary school in Binh Minh hamlet, Ea H’leo commune in the CentralHighlands province of Dak Lak and upgrade the nursery school, theprimary school, and the secondary school in Phuoc Tien commune, Bac Aidistrict, the central coastal province of Ninh Thuan.

The health projects are to purchase equipment for the GeneralHospital in Tra Cu district in the southern Tay Ninh province, thereproductive health care centre in the central coastal province of NinhThuan and the health centre in Giang Thanh district in the Mekong Deltaprovince of Kien Giang.

The only environmentproject involves the construction of a water treatment system in HungThanh commune, Thap Muoi district in the Mekong Delta province of DongThap.

Addressing the signing ceremony, NakajimaSatoshi, Japan’s consul general in HCM City, said that all six projectsaddress the urgent need of local people, adding that Japan will continueits support in the future to contribute to Vietnam’s development aswell as cementing the friendship relationship between the two countries.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
