Int’l processing, packaging expo returns to HCM City

HCM City (VNA)🍌 – The 18th International Processing and Packaging Technology Exhibition (ProPak Vietnam 2025) and the 2nd International Beverage Technology Exhibition (DrinkTech Vietnam 2025) are set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City from March 18-20.

This year’s events will offer extensive networking opportunities for domestic and international businesses in the processing, packaging, and beverage technology sectors. As one of the region’s premier industry gatherings, the exhibitions will feature breakthrough solutions to optimise production, boost efficiency, and support sustainable development. Ben Wong, General Director of Informa Market Vietnam, the co-organiser, said ProPak Vietnam 2025 will welcome over 340 exhibitors from 26 countries and territories. They are mainly top global suppliers of materials and technologies for food, beverage, pharmaceutical processing, and packaging, alongside providers of printing, coding, marking, labelling, laboratory operations, and related services.
Meanwhile, DrinkTech Vietnam 2025 will showcase cutting-edge technologies, equipment, and solutions for the beverage industry, attracting major players in Vietnam’s food and beverage sector. The event will also feature business networking sessions, product displays, and live technology demonstrations. Vice Chairwoman and Secretary General of the Vietnam Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Association (VBA) Chu Thi Van Anh noted that Vietnam’s packaging industry is rapidly shifting towards green, sustainable production, a move that benefits both businesses and the community.
DrinkTech Vietnam 2025 is expected to become a key platform connecting global suppliers with local buyers and businesses, while also facilitating expansion into regional markets. The event aims to bridge advanced solutions with market needs, promoting sustainable growth for Vietnam’s beverage industry. Alongside product showcases, the exhibitions will feature a Business Matching programme for one-on-one global networking, as well as international and specialised conferences./.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels.
