By 2025, Vietnam aims to achieve 100% mobile broadband coverage on all national highways, expressways and railways under a plan to enhance the quality of Vietnam’s mobile telecommunications network by 2025, which has been approved by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC).

Malaysia has issued a license to Starlink, the satellite communications service started by Elon Musk, to provide internet services in the country, particularly in remote areas.

The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) has the largest number of broadband subscribers in Vietnam, said VNPT Deputy General Director Nguyen Truong Giang.
