International IT conferences take place in Khanh Hoa

The 6th International Conference on Future Data and Security Engineering 2019 (FDSE 2019) and the 13th International Conference on Advanced Computing and Applications (ACOMP 2019) are taking place at the Telecommunications University in Nha Trang city, the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa.

Khanh Hoa (VNA) - The 6th International Conference on Future Data and Security Engineering 2019 (FDSE 2019)and the 13th International Conference on Advanced Computing and Applications (ACOMP 2019) are taking place at the Telecommunications University in Nha Trang city, thecentral coastal province of Khanh Hoa.

The November 27-29 conferences draw the participation of 21 speakers andscientists from Germany, France, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Australia.

FDSE and ACOMP are annual international forums designed for researchers, practitioners,engineers and students interested in state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practiceactivities in data, information, knowledge, and security engineering to explorecutting-edge ideas, present and exchange their research results and advanceddata-intensive applications, as well as to discuss emerging issues on data,information, knowledge, and security engineering.

Leading researchers on cyber security technology from across the world havegathered at the events to identify new issues and directions for future relatedresearch and development work.

They offer opportunities for officials, lecturers and students of the TelecommunicationsUniversity to exchange with domestic and international scientists, thusimproving their knowledge and skills, especially in information technology./.

꧑ Vietnam launches six 4.0 technology training and talent networks

The networks bring together universities, research institutes and domestic and foreign businesses. Members will work closely in training, research, and technology transfer by sharing curricula, improving faculty capacity, providing access to laboratories and research facilities, and jointly implementing science and technology projects.

Vietnam is actively yet cautiously preparing for the construction of its first nuclear power plant in Ninh Thuan (now the south-central coastal province of Khanh Hoa). The resumption of the programme after years of suspension carries considerable significance for the nation’s development in a new era as it strives to gradually reduce and ultimately phase out coal-fired power to realise the Government’s commitment to Net Zero by 2050.

Vietnam has issued many key policies to support semiconductor development, notably the Politburo’s Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Other initiatives include the Semiconductor Industry Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2050, and the Human Resources Development Programme for the Semiconductor Industry.
