KhanhHoa (VNA) – Rescue ship SAR 27-01 of the region IV Maritime Search andRescue Coordination Centre brought a Chinese sailor who injured in anoccupational accident at sea to Nha Trang city of the central province of KhanhHoa for treatment on July 12.
Earlieron the afternoon of July 11, the Vietnam Maritime Search and RescueCoordination Centre (MRCC) received a request for help from China’s Chang HangCheng Gong ship as its sailor, Cui Jisheng, went unconscious due to bleedingfrom a sharp cut in an occupational accident.
TheChinese ship is moving off the waters of Khanh Hoa province while en route toJapan from India.
TheVietnam MRCC then contacted the Chinese ship and guided its members to givefirst aid for the victim, and deployed the rescue ship SAR 27-01 to bring himto the mainland for prompt treatment.-VNA
Four Vietnamese sailors on board a Taiwanese fishing vessel that sank near South Africa several days ago have been saved, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre reported on July 11.
